DEVOTED J
Since beginning my music journey, I have opened up for some amazing, legendary artist in the industry. Artist such as Ledisi, Eric Bennet, Mint Condition, Angie Stone, Stephanie Mills, and most recently R&B star, Jacquees. I have also opened up for the Philadelphia Phillies game, and for Barack Obamas second inaugural rally, performing the National Anthem. This thing called life can be challenging but to have an outlet and be able to pour into it gives me all the purpose I need to keep going! Since the beginning of my journey its been rewarding to grow as an artist within myself and alongside my friends and family who also support me. Including my people into my business, and prompting their business even when they are not in the room has made this entire process in developing Devoted J, made it even more fun and exciting! I am forever thankful for everyone who has supported me and watch me on this journey!

SINGER / RAPPER / SONG WRITER / ENTERTAINER
I am from Philadelphia and what feels like since birth, singing and all things entertainment has been a passion of mine! I've been more motivated and devoted to my craft than ever before and I'm ready to take the world by storm! The name Devoted stems from never feeling devoted to anything but my vocal ability and the genuine emotions I can pour into a song. It's often, when you're the kind of person to put other peoples needs before yours, it’s easy to loose yourself in other peoples dreams. I made a vow to myself to stay devoted to my craft because I am gonna be the one, besides God of course to motivate myself the most.
VO
Vo, comes from within the name Devoted and when getting back into my journey, through mentoring another artist, that brought out the rapper in me. I consider Vo to be my alter ego. Another outlet that allows me to write freely through rap that I don't do through singing.
You'll notice as my career progresses that there will be a balance between both because I love both sides of me. The singer in me is sensitive and expressive and the rapper in me is unapologetic and aggressive. Both authentic, both me.
